Avocado honey – 31 grams

Avocados are a crop from America. They are found in plantations along almost the entire Malaga coast.
Our Avocado honey is harvested in the Axarquia region of Malaga, between 60 and 300 meters above sea level in the towns of Vélez-Málaga, Iznate and Benamocarra, in the months of April and May.
Its yellow-green flowers are generally very attractive to bees, some years more than others, depending on the weather.
Avocado honeys are dark to very dark amber in color.
It has a faint floral and fruity aroma, the latter increases in the retro nasal.
The taste is sweet, with slight acid notes and salty notes. It is a dense honey with slow crystallization, often defective due to frequent high humidity.
Among its properties we can highlight:
– Helps our cardiovascular system.
– Diuretic, stimulates kidney function.
– Combat anemia due to its high amount of minerals including iron.
– Antioxidant.
This honey, due to its scarcity and rarity, is considered a gourmet product, highly appreciated and in demand in haute cuisine.
